Moving into a home is an important step toward independence. For individuals and families leaving shelters or abusive homes, having basic household essentials can help make that fresh start possible.

VIVA PIMA! Supplies provides new items for the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom through partnerships with social service agencies. These supplies help our neighbors begin again with practical support for everyday life.

Working Together to Support Our Neighbors

VIVA PIMA! partners with hundreds of schools, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations to serve our community.

On August 19, volunteer Rebecca Werner helped representatives from several organizations pick up Supplies baskets for their clients. Among the organizations that visited that morning were:

• Department of Children's Services
• COPE
• CODAC
• Emerge
• Primavera
• Veteran's Administration

Each basket was collected to help someone take the next step toward living independently.

Household Essentials for a Fresh Start

This pickup offers a glimpse of how our Supplies program works. Volunteers prepare resources, partner agencies connect them with their clients, and people moving into housing receive new essentials to help establish their homes.

Through these partnerships, VIVA PIMA! Supplies supports individuals and families as they rebuild after difficult circumstances.
